Our campaign is a nonpartisan grassroots movement working to create a cabinet-level Department of Peace and Nonviolence in our federal government.
The Peace Alliance, a national, nonprofit citizen action organization representing a growing constituency for peace, is leading the rapidly growing Campaign for a U.S Department of Peace.

The areas of Southern California represented by this website include Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley north to Lancaster area-Inyo and Mono Counties, and Ventura area north to Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo. The congressional districts covered are 23-25 and 27-36. Don't know what district you're in? Go to www.congress.org and input your zip code (you may also need to input your address) -- you'll find out who all of your elected officials are!
