Holiday Greetings and December Events - Join Us!
Nov 28, 2009
We're hoping that you are enjoying a warm, wonderful and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday. As we enter the winter holiday season, we are grateful for each one of the volunteers of The Peace Alliance, in the campaign for a Department of Peace, and the Youth PROMISE Act. The work each one of you is doing in the world -- to be peaceful in your lives, to spread the word about actively building peace and making peace a policy priority, and to contribute financially to The Peace Alliance -- is making a difference.
The new strategic plan outlines specific areas of contribution -- be sure that you read the plan, and work with your local district team lead or State coordinator to define what contribution you'd like to make to making the plan a reality and bring peacebuilding into the consciousness of everyone in our communities.

Check out the two events in December -- we hope to see you at one or both!
Peace - Making it Real
- Please consider hosting your own 'Peace - Making It Real' House Party on December 5th, or January 9th -- the details are on the Peace Alliance website. House parties will be held around the country all at the same time, and we'll all phone together to a conference line to hear Lynn McMullen, our Executive Director, and another speaker yet to be determined (perhaps a sponsoring Member of Congress).

If you're not hosting a party, and you'd like to, join us at Terry Mason's house party, Saturday December 5th, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. RSVP to terry@lupineproductions.com. The address is 16425 Otsego Street, Encino, CA.
Holiday Celebration Open House
- Our Annual Holiday Open House will be December 20th -- so please stop by and join us to celebrate the holiday season together!
When: Sunday, December 20th
Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Open House - drop by anytime!
Where: Terry & Paul's house: 16425 Otsego Street, Encino, CA 91436
RSVP if you will attend: terry@lupineproductions.com (preferred), or 818.784.9073
Whether or not we see you, we wish you the most joyous and peace-filled holiday season. May the year ahead bring all of us closer to our collective vision of a safer and more peaceful world to leave our future generations.
Warm holiday wishes,
Jerilyn Stapleton and Tory Haslinger - State Co-Coordinators, The Peace Alliance
